Terms of Use & Disclaimer

By accessing or using MyToolyard ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age in your jurisdiction).

These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and VectorScale AI (the operator of MyToolyard). If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation.

• Service — the MyToolyard website, its tools, blog, admin, and any API endpoints we operate.
• Tool — an individual utility such as a converter, calculator, formatter, or AI-powered feature.
• BYOK — Bring-Your-Own-Key model where you supply third-party AI provider credentials.
• Content — anything you input into, generate with, or publish through the Service.
• Account — an optional user account for saving preferences, drafts, and publishing.

All tools are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind — express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. We make no guarantee that:

• Results will be accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose.
• The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
• Any defects will be corrected on any timeline.
• Third-party AI providers will remain available or return the same output for the same input.

You use the tools at your own risk and are responsible for verifying any output before acting on it.

Most tools work without an account. If you create one:

• You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Notify us immediately at hello@VectorScaleAI.in if you suspect unauthorised access.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

AI tools use a Bring-Your-Own-Key model. You supply API credentials for third-party providers (e.g. OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Groq, OpenRouter). You are solely responsible for:

• All API traffic billed to your keys.
• Compliance with each provider's terms, content policies, usage limits, and geographic restrictions.
• The content of prompts you send and the responses you receive.
• Keeping your keys confidential and rotating them if compromised.

We do not proxy your requests. MyToolyard is not a data controller for prompts, completions, embeddings, images or any other AI provider payload — you are.

Medicine, pharmacy, finance, legal, and health-related tools provide general information only and are not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional.

• Do not rely on dosage calculators, drug-interaction checkers, or any medical reference for clinical decisions.
• Loan, tax, salary, and investment calculators are estimates, not financial advice.
• Legal information is generic; always consult a licensed attorney for your jurisdiction.
• In emergencies, contact your local emergency services or a licensed clinician.

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for illegal activity, harassment, hate speech, or to generate malware.
• Send spam, phishing material, or content that infringes intellectual-property rights.
• Attempt to bypass security controls, rate limits, or authentication.
• Scrape, mirror, or resell the Service or its content at scale.
• Use the Service to build a competing product through automated extraction.
• Upload content that contains malware, exploits, or unlawful material.
• Interfere with other users' access, degrade performance, or probe the Service for vulnerabilities without written permission.

We may suspend or terminate access for any violation, with or without notice, and remove offending content.

You retain ownership of the content you input, generate, or publish. By publishing content to the public Blog, Wishlist, or any user-facing surface, you grant MyToolyard a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, host, and cache that content as part of operating the Service.

You represent that:

• You have all rights necessary to submit the content.
• The content does not infringe any third party's rights.
• The content complies with the Acceptable Use section above.

The MyToolyard name, logo, brand assets, and aggregate codebase are owned by VectorScale AI. Open-source components remain under their respective licences. Except for the rights expressly granted in these Terms, no licence is granted to you in any of our marks, trade dress, or proprietary UI patterns.

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a written notice to hello@VectorScaleAI.in including:

• A description of the copyrighted work and the allegedly infringing material (URL).
• Your contact details and a good-faith statement that use is not authorised.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are the rights holder or authorised agent.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

We respond to valid notices within a reasonable time and may notify the poster of the takedown.

The Service may link to or integrate with third-party services (AI providers, analytics, ad networks, affiliate partners). We are not responsible for the availability, terms, or content of those services. Your use of a third-party service is governed by that service's terms and privacy policy.

You may stop using the Service or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access — with or without notice — for breach of these Terms, suspected fraud, or to protect the Service or its users.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination (IP, liability, indemnity, governing law) do so.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyToolyard, VectorScale AI, and our contributors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses — arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

Our aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed USD $50 or the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months (whichever is greater). Some jurisdictions do not allow limits on implied warranties or consequential damages — in those jurisdictions our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless MyToolyard and VectorScale AI from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service in breach of these Terms, your content, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control — including but not limited to hosting-provider outages, upstream AI-provider outages, denial-of-service attacks, natural disasters, government action, or internet backbone failures.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.

Before filing suit, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting hello@VectorScaleAI.in and allowing 30 days for a good-faith resolution.

Nothing here limits any non-waivable consumer rights you may have under the law of your country of residence — including your right to bring proceedings in your local courts where required by law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted on this page with a refreshed "Last updated" date; we may also notify signed-in users by email. Your continued use of the Service after a change indicates acceptance of the new terms.

• Entire agreement. These Terms and the linked policies are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
• Severability. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect.
• No waiver. Failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it.
• Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them freely in connection with a merger or sale.
