What does Text Diff do?

How to use Text Diff
- 1Enter the Original Text
Paste or type the original version of your text into the **left input panel**. This represents the baseline or earlier version.

Paste or type the revised or updated text into the **right input panel**. This is the version you want to compare against the original.
- 3View the Differences
As soon as both text fields are populated, the tool automatically generates a comparison view below. Differences are highlighted using color-coded formatting: - **Green sections** indicate added content - **Red sections** indicate removed content
- 4Analyze the Summary
Review the summary indicators (e.g., “+2 added”, “–2 removed”) to get a quick overview of how many changes were made.
- 5Review Line-by-Line Changes
Scroll through the comparison output to examine differences in detail. The tool presents aligned blocks so you can see exactly how each line has evolved.
- 6Copy or Apply Changes
Use the insights gained from the comparison to finalize edits, validate updates, or communicate revisions. You can manually copy content from either version as needed.
